Clara Barton Society

Home / About Us / Clara Barton Society

The vision for the Clara Barton Society, named for the founder of the American Red Cross, is to acknowledge and honor those individuals and families whose leadership and generosity, in service of humanity, carry out the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross every day in communities across America. On behalf of the thousands of lives saved and changed each year, the Red Cross thanks these visionary leaders for their outstanding annual support.

Clara Barton Society members give an annual total of $1,000 or more to support the Red Cross mission. All individual/family gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized in the Clara Barton Society, whether the gifts support local or specific campaign designations, including those who join our Lifesaving Society with pledges of $1,000 or more for 5 years.

Each year the Hampton Roads Chapter honors our Clara Barton and Lifesaving Society Members as part of our Major Donor Reception in May.
