Have you wanted to learn CPR but were intimidated by doing “mouth to mouth?”  Do you want to learn how to save a life without sitting through a full certification course?  Then CITIZEN CPR is the perfect program for you!  In this brief 30 minute presentation, you will learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies by performing COMPRESSION-ONLY CPR.  Participants will have the opportunity to practice the correct compression technique on our human-replica manikins.  Don’t miss the opportunity to gain these skills with a non-intimidating and non-certification course!

The Red Cross continues to help our local residents affected by house fires.  On September 21st we responded to a fire on Jefferson Avenue and provided food, lodging and clothing for 1 adult and 3 children; Last week we assisted a family of 2 adults and 3 children and 2 seniors who lost everything.
