CPR-Child and Infant with AED-Child plus Standard First Aid

Learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in children (ages 1-12 years) and infants (under 1 year of age). This course also teaches responders what an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is and how to use them on child cardiac arrest victims. Participants also learn the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care of injuries and sudden illnesses, which include burns, bleeding, hypothermia, stroke, and much more. Upon successful completion of an assessment, participants will receive a CPR/AED-Child certification, CPR-Infant certification, Standard First Aid certification, and Pediatric First Aid certification, which are now valid for two-years as of January 1, 2011.
