This course is geared towards obtaining CPR/AED requirements for Lifeguarding, Healthcare Providers, and Professional Rescuers.  Participants learn CPR/AED skills at the professional rescuer level for adults, children, and infants.  Two-person CPR and bag-valve mask procedures are also taught.  Upon successful completion of the course and assessments, participants will receive a CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification, valid for two years.

The Red Cross continues to help our local residents affected by house fires.  On September 21st we responded to a fire on Jefferson Avenue and provided food, lodging and clothing for 1 adult and 3 children; Last week we assisted a family of 2 adults and 3 children and 2 seniors who lost everything.
