Learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults (ages 12 and older).  This course also teaches responders what an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is and how to use them on cardiac arrest victims.  Upon successful completion of an assessment, participants will receive a CPR/AED-Adult certification, which is now valid for two-years as of January 1, 2011 (replacing the one-year certification prior to 1/1/11).
