Standard First Aid

(price change effective for courses as of July 1, 2011) 

 Participants will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care of injuries and sudden illnesses, which include burns, bleeding, hypothermia, stroke, and much more.  Upon successful completion of an assessment participants will receive a Standard First Aid certification, which is now valid for two-years as of January 1, 2011.

The Red Cross continues to help our local residents affected by house fires.  On September 21st we responded to a fire on Jefferson Avenue and provided food, lodging and clothing for 1 adult and 3 children; Last week we assisted a family of 2 adults and 3 children and 2 seniors who lost everything.
