What is the Legacy Society?

The Red Cross honors every planned gift donor with membership into the Legacy Society.  We invite you to become a member of the Legacy Society, created exclusively to honor and recognize people who have helped continue the vital work of the American Red Cross through a gift in their Wills, Trusts, or Estate Plans.

Your gift can be recognized publicly, unless you prefer to give anonymously.  The Legacy Society also provides information and assistance to donors who may be considering a planned gift.

If you have already arranged for a bequest or other planned gift, we would like to honor your support, please notify us.  If you are still considering a gift, let us know so we can help your advisors complete your gift in a way that benfits your estate and makes clear your intention to help the Red Cross.

When you join the Legacy Society, you demonstrate your committment to the humanitarian mission of the Red Cross and help ensure the long-term strength of the organization.

Should you have questions concerning becoming a member, please contact a member of our Development Staff at 757-838-7320.
